“Helping you move with intuition and awareness.”

ABOUT

Jeneva is an experienced yoga teacher, writer and artist dedicated to helping you develop a yoga practice that works for you as an individual.

As an intuitive teacher known for her attentive and personalised approach, Jeneva tailors every session to you. Whether you’re completely new to yoga, returning after a break, or looking to deepen an existing practice, lessons are designed to meet you where you are.

Jeneva was introduced to yoga as a toddler by her mother, an Iyengar and restoritive yoga teacher and has been practising for over thirty years. She’s completed multiple yoga teacher trainings in India and taught internationally, bringing a wealth of experience to every class.

Jeneva previously studied dance and the performing arts and holds a Master’s degree in creative writing. She writes alongside teaching yoga, balancing creativity with wellness.

Jeneva practices what she teaches. Her daily asana, pranayama and meditation practices are an integral part of her creative process, so much so that she has begun a research journey exploring the ways in which such practices can help writers and creatives to spend more time in creative flow and less time procrastinating.

When practising with Jeneva, you can expect a lighthearted approach with a side of humour and a lot of specificity around alignment, especially when it comes to the joints. She will ask you to check in with your body and let her know how you are feeling so that she can enable adequate challenges alongside rest when needed in order to prevent injury and achieve your goals more quickly. An advanced yoga practice isn’t about being flexible or standing on your head, although that may come with time, but about learning to listen to our bodies and practising consciously.

Jeneva travels to her students so that you can practise in the comfort of your home. She works with clients across Zones 1 and 2 in London, including Chalk Farm, Kentish Town, Camden, Islington, Hampstead, Highgate, Regent’s Park, and Marble Arch. She occasionally ventures to Kensington and other areas in West London.

Every new student requires an initial thirty-minute Zoom consultation to decide whether to work together moving forward.

Jeneva believes yoga is built on mutual respect, trust, and clear communication. She asks that all students approach their practice with kindness, professionalism, and consideration for one another’s time and boundaries.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated cancellations can make it difficult to maintain continuity and commitment. After three cancellations, Jeneva reserves the right to discontinue ongoing sessions.

Why choose one-to-one yoga?

Private yoga offers the opportunity to develop a practice that is entirely focused on your needs. With individual guidance and support, you can build confidence, refine your practice, and develop a sustainable relationship with yoga that supports your overall wellbeing.

One-to-one sessions can help you move with deeper awareness, develop strength and flexibility, and create space for both physical and mental balance. Through consistent, personalised practice, you’ll be able to experience the deeper benefits of yoga and progress more quickly.

One-to-one yoga is ideal for those with busy schedules. It removes travel time and allows you to get more from a single session than you typically would in a group class, making better use of your time.

For booking enquieries contact Jeneva via email or send a whatsapp message and she will get back to you.
